Senior Nets Move To New Time and Place

Winter Nets Start on Tuesday 25th January, at Bradford Grammar School, between 8:30pm and 9:45pm.

We are delighted to have agreed further access to the facilities at Bradford Grammar School for the Senior Winter Nets. With 5 indoor lanes in their superb sports hall the move to BGS is a huge benefit to the club and means we can now share Tuesday evenings for both the Junior and Senior training.

Juniors Aiming for Full Academy

In only the 3rd season Wilsden Cricket Club Juniors are aiming to field a team in all the age groups of the UAJCL. This is an ambitious aim, but offering children of all ages the opportunity to train and play cricket at the club is a key objective.

We are looking for new players for all age groups so whether you are a keen cricketer or just keen to try, get in touch and join our family focused Junior club.

Seniors Looking for New Blood

Wilsden Cricket Club has both 1st and 2nd teams playing in the Craven and District Cricket League and we are looking for new players. If you are new to the area, looking for a new club, or just interested in playing cricket get in touch.

2010 Season Review

The end of another great cricket season...…
Wilsden 1st Team performed well in the Craven and District League Division 2 finishing 4th, a point ahead of local rivals Sandy Lane. Tom Pierson led the batting averages with 51.33 and the top bowler was Stuart Wilson with 44 wickets at 15.77.
The 2nd Team survived an end of season relegation battle in division 4 which saw the bottom 6 all play each other in the final weeks. Back to back wins over now relegated Sutton and Cowling were enough to maintain the team in division 4.
Wilsden Cricket Club Juniors had a fantastic 2nd season fielding 3 teams in the Upper Airedale Junior Cricket League. All teams performed well and it was a pleasure to see over 40 children enjoying cricket at the club.
The Under 13s had an excellent first season finishing 3 in the league and runners up in the cup. The Under 11s whilst being very inexperience managed a 10 place finish but developed throughout the year. Finally, the Under 9s finished 4 in the league which was a great achievement.
Planning has started for next year and we are hopeful to field a full junior academy next season. We are looking for children from 6 to 17 to come and join so please get in touch. Winter nets start on the 11th January and we are adding more ECB qualified coaches to our team.
Finally, Wilsden Cricket Club are delighted to have raised over £200 for Manorlands this year and would like to thank all the support we have received from members, parents and kids.
